In 1994, Q Magazine released an issue that focused on a music trilogy: Björk, PJ Harvey, and Tori Amos. It’s hard to be a fan of one and not the other two. Their careers all started at the same time and have pretty much progressed in the same direction. Now, nearly 20 years since this iconic photo was first released, these women are all releasing new projects in the same year, projects that are redefining their careers altogether. This is the second time where the stars have aligned and this event has occurred, the other year being 2007. Reblog if these women are the core of your musical taste and you cannot live without the music they release. They’re all lights in darkness. They’re musicians and healers. They’re voices for the voiceless. They’re goddesses.
